I took the freedom to point him over to your direction since I thought
he might have been able to help you out with your work.
So all I could suggest is to try and coordinate his effort in case you
find something useful in it.

I understand you are about to leave for vacation, so the time might
not be good for this kind of coordination.

I second your thoughts here, I'd rather NOT have any swing widget
around than continuing with telling people that what we have is for
demo purposes only.
