Just solved a almost 4 years old bug with referencing deadlocking

I don't mind, I am going through the docs again and again editing so let me know
when your patch is good to go.

We do; it is just that that I would like to point to the latest docs by 
default.

I can, because I have some kind of admin access, but I should go through the 
codehaus task process. We do take an export out of the wiki as part of our 
release process; so it can still be accessed on source forge as a zip archive. 

What I would like to avoid doing is having the new docs competing with the old 
for google searches; indeed I there are already placeholders at the top of many 
wiki pages pointing at the newer docs:

(the amusing thing is that the above links are broken)
