A couple more things need to be done for this to be closed off.
1) Need to remove the following from docs.
2) Need to rescue the SDO test cases from oracle-spatial (the jdbc-ng only took
the SDO class and not the test cases).
3) Need to sort out Jira; what is the call on this can I mark all of that stuff
as closed won't fix? Or should I leave the "components" there to handle new
issues reported against oracle, mysql, etc...
