The first two commits are definitely windows related but path some test code to 
be windows compatible; makes the test pass.

The third commit was from Andrea. It had to do with a different execution order 
of the tests which broken expectations/preconditions. I used Win7 & Java7. So 
some sort of Win7, Java7 and JUnit combination that altered the test order.

Do those effect Windows? Or Java 7 or both … looks to be windows.

Okay if you push them to the 9.x branch? Or am I expected to cherry-pick them…
