I usually use uDig to hack away at the SLD (you can import and export files from the style dialog). Dave Blasby wrote an excellent tutorial, I have links to hist tutorial and a few other things from the GeoTools user guide. - http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTDOC/Style+Examples
The style/mapcontext/renderer layer is the last part of the user guide (and then we are ready to move onto GeoTools 3 ). So if you have any chance to look over these pages on SLD and fix them up it would be *way cool*. Jody PS. Other than that Refractions has a good training course :-) > Hi Mark, > UDig is a good resource for generating SLD files.
