Hi, I use Geotools 2.7 and I managed to build the shapefiles I wanted to build. I would like to add some metadata to my files. I'd like to be abble to open an existing shapefile and attach information such as:
name - type forecastDateTime - String generatedDate - String notes - String productName - String organisation - String latitudeMin - Int latitudeMax - Int longitudeMin - Int longitudeMax - Int etc. I have found some objects that might be abble to hold some form of information but no way to write it to a file or read it. I haven't found any example about it. Is there any way to do so? Can anyone please help me? Thanks.
