interestingly for DiskMemImage, it exhibits the same batik issue, but on
top of that, it has a strange issue with rendering text labels.
sometimes all labels are rendered, sometimes only some of them,
sometimes none. this seems to be somehow related to how big the target
image is.
consider the following sample images:
http://akos.maroy.hu/~akos/dmi-2000000-70.tif
http://akos.maroy.hu/~akos/dmi-1000000-70.tif
http://akos.maroy.hu/~akos/dmi-500000-70.tif
http://akos.maroy.hu/~akos/dmi-250000-70.tif
these are images of the same area (same data source, same layers), with
70 DPI, with different scales: 2.000.000, 1.000.000, 500.000 and
250.000. the SLDs used are:
http://code.google.com/p/openaviationmap/source/browse/trunk/rendering/oam_airspaces.sld
http://code.google.com/p/openaviationmap/source/browse/trunk/rendering/oam_navaids.sld
(beware: lots of different denominations, with only the rendering sizes
changing)
as you can see, the bigger the image, the lower number of text labels
appear. for the 1:2.000.000 scale image, it seems all of them are there.
but some are already missing for the 1:1.000.000 scale image, and for
the 1:250.000 scale, only a few in the top-left corner are rendered.
the effect is the same if I increase the DPI value - this somehow this
phenomenon is related to the size of the target image.
at first, I don't even have a clue of where to look for what's going
wrong here.
