And since rendering and analysis are computationally intensive, how
should you prioritize these activities?  This could certainly framed as
a geography question... for example, how should one go about designing a
system that supports disaster response (i.e. when a fire breaks out on
the front range).  This question could incorporate the technologies
mentioned (wps, cloud computing) and others, but has the 'where' and
'when' aspects that interest geography academics.

Regardless of what you decide to do, just propose something with a title
that includes the terms "paradigm", "critical", and "robust" and the CU
geographers will be putty in your hands...
