Thanks all for the great comments. Unfortunately I can't actually use
Kickstarter as it's US only:
"Be a US resident and at least 18 years of age with a social security number
(or EIN), a US bank account, US address, US state-issued ID (driver’s license),
and major US credit or debit card."
I considered IndieGoGo but they didn't really seem to offer much beyond a
payment platform, which paypal, etc. provide. I guess Steve would tell me to
find a US friend and worry about tax implications later ;-)
Brady - I've submitted for Where under "Mini Maker Faire" but can submit as a
talk ("15 minute session"?) too. I like the muggleclock.com site, hadn't
actually seen it before, I may end up with something similar as a demo for what
the purchased clock will look like.
You've certainly helped me get closer to the 50, just another 39 to go!
