Hi everyone, I'm trying to get a feel for how well ESRI products support OGC Standards and Services.
I'm interested in both good and bad experiences. The specific ESRI products are: ArcSDE, ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Desktop. The main OGC Standards that I'm interested in are: - Web Map Services (including support for multi-spectral imagery), - Web Feature Services, - WFS Transactional Services, - Catalogue Web Services, - Web Coverage Services, - OGC Web Processing Services, - Styled Layer Descriptor, - Web Map Context, - Filter Encoding, - OGC Common Query Language, - OGC Web Service Common, - OGC Simple Features, - Geography Markup Language, - Geospatial Digital Rights Management; I'm aware of the following claims, however I'm interested in real world experiences: http://www.opengeospatial.org/resource/products http://www.esri.com/software/standards/support-iso-ogc.html If you respond to this email can you please include the version of both the product and the standard that you are refering to, to help me with later analysis.
