Hi all,
Since it didn't come up yet: Yes, we have been using (and developing)
a spatial data catalogue since 2002 or there about. It provides
access to many spatial data resources from different organizations.
The base system is Geonetwork opensource. See http://geonetwork-
opensource.org for more details on the software. See also http://
www.fao.org/geonetwork for our operational catalog.
We are now (!) finishing a new release (version 2.1) that should be
out in about 1.5 week from today.
