Has there been any recent work on a "standard" file format for TINs? We
may be about to start work on a plug-in for the creation of manipulation
of TINs in OpenJUMP, and I want to avoid reinventing the wheel.
If there is a standard file format for TINs, or even a file format used
by another FOSS program that has decent documentation, please let me
know.
