Couple of OpenStreetMap and Openlayers links for you on deploying slippy
maps.

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Category:Slippy_map

http://openlayers.org/doc/

OpenStreetMap uses Openlayers for its default slippy map interface and you
will find plenty of OpenStreetMap users with their own versions of the same,
with or without personalised rendering of the OSM data. For instance check
out the cyclemap at http://www.gravitystorm.co.uk/osm/.

best of luck.

Cheers
