Dear Colleagues,
The deadline for proposals for Bard's student research conference on Asia and 
the Environment<http://goo.gl/RzTE7i> is March 13th. Please alert interested  
undergrads and graduate students to this unique opportunity to meet other 
interested students and present their own ideas. Keynote speakers include Emily 
Yeh, University of 
Colorado,<http://geography.colorado.edu/people/faculty_member/yeh_emily> and 
Judith Shapiro, American 
University.<http://www.american.edu/sis/faculty/shapiro.cfm> Registration is 
$30, and includes all meals and lodging.

The conference begins Thursday afternoon, April 16th, and runs through the end 
of the day on April 17th. Students should submit at least a 250 word abstract 
for a paper or poster, to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>. Paper 
presentations will be 15 minutes long, with opportunity for discussion. Bard 
College is an easy, 90-minute train ride from New York City.
