I had (well, have, actually) a Chinese friend at school who complains
bitterly that you can't get good rat in the U.S. He went on and on about
it, how the rat here tastes funny. I thought he was joking, until one day
he got a package from home... Yeesh.
I always liked the story of the origin of the Vietnamiese pot bellied pigs
as pets. They keep the little guys for a couple years as household pets,
and then cook the little guys up. How has this become a thread?
