Curse you, Bill, now you've got me doing it. My students are gonna hate me
soon, the ones that don't already. My thoughts on recent events follow,
albiet in a somewhat esoteric format.

This list has a lot fewer problems than any I've ever been on, moderated or
otherwise. The level of discourse is also usually pretty high, as least as
it pertains to gerbils and thier ilk. I know it's certainly made my
gerbiling experience easier. No real need to change, things have already
calmed down. At some point in the future, there will more likely than not
be another skirmish or somesuch, but that's really part of the price of a
list where things are this reasonable most of the time.
