>From what I have learned from my spanish teachers (not
assuming that they are right...), gerbil is basically the
same only spelled "jerbil". A hamster would then be
"hamster" w/ an accent over the a. Not being a native
spanish speaker, I really don't know, but that is what my
teachers and my diccionary says (as of yet I haven't
found a spanish diccionary that has gerbil in it).
