I've found Triple-Antibiotic Ointment (Neosporin and the like) to work well
on gerbil cuts, I think it may have saved Jordan's life. Make sure it's the
ointment, so it's tough for them to get off, and I'd avoid the "Plus" stuff
with painkillers, I'm not sure what their effect would be. We usually apply
it with a Q-Tip, but that's mostly because our gerbs like to wiggle.
