In the past this has happened to me once or twice. Being that the other
litter is six weeks old, this sounds like a good time for the next litter..
and everyone knows, after a birth, gerbies waste no time on getting pregnant
again (;. So my conclusion is that the litter might have been born, and
somehow none of them made it ):. Are you sure there aren't any pups anywhere
in the cage? The only reason I think this is because gerbils usually don't
have a litter, wait six weeks, then finally mate again. Hope I've helped,
