It is actually quite easy. Get someone to hold the gerbil firmly clamped
in their hands. it is important to pin the legs against the body so they
cannot move. The other person then quickly uses one hand to part the
lips and using a pair or the nail clippers that look like a small pair
of pliers, clip of a piece of tooth. Make sure the teeth meet evenly
when you have finished. Clip too little tooth if you are unsure, you can
always clip a little more later.
With practise you can then do this on your own!
