Actually sometimes no, I have put wood in thier cages and they havent chewed
on it for whatever reason. My gerbies teeth arent long now I'm just wondering
just in case they grow  too long. In Esthers case the vet told me her calcium
counts where out of whack so thats what made her teeth grow to long. She was
calcium defiecent, so that made her teeth grow wierd. He told me its a good
idea to feed gerbies cheese so they get the calcium they need.
