... with a few additions ... I was always interested in "new" colors, and
got them whenever I could. I remember when pied gerbils first came to the
area ... that is when I got Stripe, a black pied male who was Taffy's mate.
Another color I remember was either DEH or nutmeg (tan-golden), as I thought
oh, a black-eyed golden. Then they changed color on me and looked closer to
an agouti (got their ticking) so I didn't like them too much. I had a pair
at one time that would produce 6 or so colors, which I thought was neat.
Now look at all the colors ...
Today, I'm as interested as ever in seeing and/or getting "new" colors
(those that I haven't seen before).
