I finally found a place within reach that sells animal feed. They have 50 lb bags of cracked corn, oats, etc. This would be ok to put in a mixture for my gerbs, right? They also had wild bird seed which is much cheaper but I think I read somewhere that wild bird seed can be dangerous, something about the seeds being allowed to age too much ... anybody know anything about this? They had a few open bins of seeds too but I am a bit wary of buying anything that has been open.
