Hi, I am no gerbil expert, but just to be safe I would probably just have
these 2 gerbils stay together. If you absolutely want to have 3 gerbils,
best bet would have to be males. I don't know if this is right, but that is
my best bet cause from personal experience females are not good together if
they are introduced improperly. :)

I currently have one male and one female in my 50 gallon tank...but would
like to get another gerbil to add. I know that females fight, but I also
know that males fight over the protection of their offspring...so I'm not
sure what to do...or would I be better off with just these 2 for now?
