Hi Sarah,

I would leave that single pup with the parents until the new pups are old
enough to be weaned. Then you could remove the older pup with the younger
pups and Jazz wouldn't be alone.

I'm curious as to why you had to separate Jazz when the new pups were being
born. Was the parents chasing him?

I have used this method several times and I never had an incidences with it.
The single older pup did fine staying with the parents and the new litter.
