Holding- Yeah its OK to touch the babies at 10 days old (to tame them, to
tell what gender they are, and to make sure what color they are), also I
would make sure the parents are fond of you, they might get a little nervous
with you around their babies.

Bedding- I usaully change the bedding one day before the mother is dew, and
then I change it when the babies eyes are open (when their eyes are open they
are usaully running all over, and it wouldn't hurt to take their nest away).
