How can you get the extra nutrition to the mom, but not the dad.  My one
male is large and I do not want him to get fat!  I have been removing all of
the sunflower seeds and feeding them by hand, mainly to the female.  Also,
it has been 17 days since the mated, but she is not getting fat yet.  I have
also not seen them mate again.  This is her first litter, if she is
pregnant.

Is this normal or would this mean she is having a small litter?
