Hi Janet,

I'm glad to hear things are going well with your father-in-law.

For your gerbil question, if you are sure they all have definite nipples
then I'm sure it would be safe to say they are all females. I forget how old
your pups are. After they get all the fur it will be hard to tell their
sexes until they reach about 5 weeks old. The males will be obviously
different then the females.

Hi all,

We are back from Halifax, and everything is going well with my
father-in-law. he should be home later this week.

Question below:

I can not believe the difference in the pups in just a few day! They have
their color and I believe two lilacs and one argente golden. I am starting
to work with the pups. They are getting use to me touching and holding
them. It is not easy to check for their sex as they do not like to be
turned over! I have not been able to get a good look at their personals,
but they seem to be quite close. Also they all have definite nipples. At
this age would this indicate that they are all females? From the pictures
on sites it seems that only the females have the nipples. If this is true
they are then all three females!

Thank you,
Janet and Liz
