Hello - been awhile since I last posted. However, I lost a female this
morning, after a short unknown illness.
What she was doing the last few days was:
Not eating - and not drinking - she was very light, I could feel her spine
when I pick her up, she move in my hand, but mostly just looks at the room
and sit there.
Her daughters are not taking this to well, they tried to help her stay warm,
and however, I am afraid that I might lose them also.

She spent most of the last week sleeping and being protected by her
daughters. Her daughters tried to bite me a number of times, or the last 2
nights they were bouncing around the cage like they were trying to plead me
to help her.

1) What went wrong?
2) I have isolated the females from the male since birth. - Now I want to
breed the golden female with a sandy male. But if something is causing this,
I can't do this.

She surprised me when I brought her home, the store told me it was a male,
and she gave birth 2 weeks later.

What did I do wrong, I feel guilty, and have her in a plastic bag to prevent
what ever she had from spreading.
