If you don't mind spending a little bit of money, you can do like I have and
register your own domain name. This usually costs around $20, and can be
done at various places like register.com, etc. Personally, I used
b2bnow.com because they also offer hosting. For $20/month, I have a
registered domain name (www.evergreengerbils.com), and something like 10MB
of storage space, plus an eMail address that corresponds with my domain
name. Personally, I'm quite happy with it, but that's my opinion.

Subject: Help (not really about gerbils though)

Hi all, I have good news, my older brother gave me his Digital camera to
use!
I am hoping on opening up a site, but I don't know how. My oldest brother
(He works with computers for a living) he says it takes a LONG time to open
a
site, or you would have to spend $200 dollars just making it! How did all
of
you people with gerbil sites make the sites? I don't want to spend $200
dollars just making the darn thing, and I don't want to wait 2 years to get
it completed! How did you guys make your sites?
