We arent trying to ban it. We are pointing out that shipping by *postal
mail* is a federal crime according to the laws of the USA. This is just one
kind of shipping- other forms (such as driving or air shipping etc.) are
perfectly legal provided you meet any requirments of the shipping company or
of the local state/city laws.

Its not that "suddenly" they can't. they always have been unable to but
they have been choosing to break the law- and thus far have gotten away with
it. Its their choice if they want to continue breaking the law or not, but
they should not be promoting this form of shipping or instructing how to do
it on a list like this because:
1) the server that hosts this list may learn of the issue and remove the
list due to violations of their rules.
2) the list owner and server owners can get in legal trouble if someone on
this list is discovered
3) the list is publically accessable and your describing what you are doing
can be used against you in court
4) IMHO it is morally wrong to encourage other people to do somethign
illegal.
5) it puts the rest of us in an awkward position. Do I report you all to
the postmaster general or do I try to talk you guys out of it? I'd face the
same question if a friend of mine was using or selling illegal drugs (and
have been in such situaiton). I try to talk them out of it first, becuase I
really don't want to see them get this huge "black mark" on their record
that will follow them around for years and years and years. But if that
fails- then what choice do I have? I sure can't sit around and do nothing.
That too is morally wrong.
