My gerbils squeak when they are getting ready to sleep.  I always figured,
since they sleep in big piles, that when they squeaked they where just
telling each other "Get off me!" or "Thats my stomach you have your elbow
on!" and maybe even " get your smelly feet out of my face!"  I take a look
in their cage and they will just be moving around trying to get comfy.

As for your gerbils:  They may be arguing over who gets to groom the other
first.  Or they may be play westling........*he, he*.........because Stone
Cold Said so!.........Power
Drive.......*Pow*.......1......2.....3........and Engy is down for the
count........Oak!.......Be nice you know he is younger than
you!..........*he, he*
