I've never been bitten either, but the gerbils are attracted to my diamond
solitaire engagement ring and have, on a couple of occasions tried to chew
it. I shoo them off and try to remember not to wear it when I'm going to
play with them. Does anyone else have gerbils with tastes for jewelry? I
should say also that they've both attempted to chew my plain gold wedding
band a couple times too.
