You feel like there is something biting you...honest. You inspect,
and little red welts that itch a lot...about the size of mosquito bumps
at the largest. And if you look quick enough, you might find it
crawling across your skin. The bites are sharp like mosquito
bites, and done very fast. One can run across you and do three
or four chomps in a few moments, and it may take you that long
to figure out that that's what is going on....

If your gerbil has them, and you've treated everything with the
pyrenthin spray, then throw your clothes in the washer, even
your underwear, and go straight to take a shower or bath.
Use a shampoo like head and shoulders (works great, I know)
and start with washing your hair first. Use lots, and take the
lather and use it as a body wash and do yourself. Head and
Shoulders WILL kill them on you.

They can survive in your clothes, bedding, rugs, drapes,
carpet, couch....if in doubt, get the pyrenthin spray out. Double
check for colorfastness first.

Luck
