Mine did the same thing. They seemed to be sleeping everytime I saw
them during the day, and then at night they would make a racket. After
a few weeks, I got fed up (sleep is important, after all) and had to
resort to putting them outside in the hallway outside my room at night
and back in when I got up in the morning.
