Hi all!

I wanted to know: how do you guys hang your waterbottles in your tanks?
In Belgium it's very hard to find a bottle which you can easily hang in a
tank. I once found one, but it is very onpractical and it takes too much
place. So I made my own bottle holder.
I took a plastic water bottle from 0,5 liters, I cut of the top. At the
bottom I make a hole to put the tube (lack of a better word: the piece where
they drink from) through. That way I have a holder for my bottle, and the
holder I hang up in one corner of the tank.
I take 3 piece of mesh wire and put them together so that I have one corner.
This I hold together with brass wire. This corner goes over one corner of
the tank and I attach the holder at the mesh wire.
Now my problem is that two of my gerbs have taken a bet: they want to
destroy as many holders as fast as possible. So today I could replace the
first one. To prevent this from happening I put a very nasty tasting stuff
on the holder (which they obviously didn't like), to prevent them from
gnawing at it (at least, I hope!)
For the ones who followed me this far (congrats!), are there any handymen
out there that know the perfect way to hang a bottle in a tank?
THANKS, sorry for the long story!
Sarah
