I'm sorry to hear that you have been offended by someone on the list, but I
also feel that you should have talked to Donna about this, and not have felt
the need to try to prove to others (especially those who find Donna's advice
very useful) that Donna is a bad person.  If the letter she sent to the list
in regards to your last post is what has offended you, I honestly don't see
why you're so upset.. she was just making an observation- something that I'm
sure others have noticed as well.  And also, she did not place the blame
directly on you- she suggested that you might want to discontinue breeding
with a particular pair due to the huge losses you've suffered with your
litters.

I agree, you should watch them.. it's not difficult to notice when gerbils
are displaying irregular behavoirs- and checking up on pups every so often to
make sure they have proper nutrition and are being cared for is something all
responsable breeders do.. but this doesn't mean observing them every two
minutes.  Usually these things don't happen overnight.. it's a gradual
situation with tell-tale signs to look out for.

I doubt Donna has ever insulted you the way you just attempted to do to her.  
Again, maybe these 'quarrels' are better kept in private e-mails.

She did not get yelled at because I am sure she asked for help with the
situation and took the advice of the GML, rather than continuing on blindly.  
I do not accuse you of anything, and I am sorry that there might have been a
misunderstanding somewhere thorughout this whole thing, but I still feel that
you should take the advice of the GML or at least throw in your two cents on
ideas you thought were wrong/right.  Not just bash someone completely because
they are concerned about hte health of your clan.  I have never known Donna
to be a rude person (actually, I don't know her at all except on the list (;
).. but I think she was just trying to get a point across that maybe you
weren't initally picking up on.  Sorry things got so out of hand.. I wish you
the best of luck with your clan and breeding in the future.
