I didn't see Donna's post on GML SO I can't comment on that. Also I wouldn't
presume to voice an opinion on your gerbil care, as I am not very
experienced myself with gerbils.
What I have had some experience with, is being on lists similar to GML
(similar in format, not subject) and dealing with upsets, complaints etc.
Did you know you can send a private email to anyone who posts to GML?
It is usually a better approach to handle grievances with a particular
individual privately, or you will tend to find yourself in the situation
you're currently in, i.e. a number of people reinforcing the opinion of the
one with whom you had the grievance! Not what you expected, I'm sure :-)
Advice offered in the hope that you will not withdraw from the list because
you're upset.
