Hello, List,
How can you tell if a gerbil has a scent gland tumor? Luigi has been
scratching at his belly a lot recently, and appears to have a scabby area on
his belly around where I think the gland is (I don't know much about gerbil
anatomy and, of course, he won't hold still to let me get a good look at it).
He doesn't appear to be in any pain, and is still quite active and curious at
play time, tho he does spend a lot of time in his bed box when no one is
paying him attention. But I suppose that could just be a sign of loneliness.
Which brings me to another question:
Do any of you know of a good breeder in the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan
area? I think it might be time to get Luigi some gerbil friends to keep him
company.
