That depends entirely on how nervous the parents are or aren't, and how much they
trust you.  I was always able to handle my pups from day one, BUT the parents
were very trusting.  They did let me know when they felt I'd handled them enough,
either by butting their heads against my hand or gently nipping at me.  I always
took the hint and left.  :)  Since I take it this is their first litter, I
wouldn't try for awhile yet.  When you do, just keep an eye on the parents to see
how they react.  If they get nervous they'll probably move the pups around
frequently.
