| When I had gerbils as a kid, my friend Matthew had his own method of
identifying his gerbils when there was one or more in the same enclosure that looked identical. He would (extremely) carefully trim the extra fur on the end of the tail of one or more of the identical gerbils, giving them a flat end to their tails. I've now done that with the male nutmeg in my latest litter, just by means of quick identification. Out of curiosity, does anyone else have another method? I'm interested to hear. Sarah |
