The answer to everybody's shipping woes is to produce GREAT gerbils,
sell them to your friends, promote gerbils EVERYWHERE you go and then
more people would breed high quality gerbies that lived within
driving distance of each other and our problem would be solved. <G>
Ok, so maybe I live in a dream world, but it is a nice thought, eh? I
have a friend in the midwest that wanted some of mine and I thought I
could pay the $75 and do it with Delta and send them with hubby.
WRONG! Was told no rodents...yet I thought chinchillas were rodents
and you can do them. I think they must be REALLY concerned about them
getting out. The guy said to me, "Now let's be realistic, which do
you think would be easier to find on a plane if it got loose? 6
gerbils or 1 cat?" He told me even a chinchillas is easier to find
than a gerbil and that is why they allow chinchillas. And I explained
to him you could double box them and there is no way they could get
out and he said "no way". So, everyone is just going to have to do
the first thing I suggested!!! (as it seems there is not much other
choice!)
