What is 'corn fluff'? If it looks like cotton batting or polyfill it could
be potentially LETHAL. Unless it will dissolve into mush with
soaking in water for twenty minutes DON'T USE IT!!!!!!
Fibers can wrap around limbs and amputate, around necks
and strangle, or if ingested, can cause intestinal blockages
that kill painfully within a few days.
>nursing mothers and they block whatever doorways they want with it.
Please, if that stuff is not finely short chopped fibers that will
dissolve into a mush when soaked in water for 20 minutes,
don't use it. (paper towels and cardboard toilet tissue rolls
will pass this test)
Also don't say 'oh I've been using it for X time and my
animals are perfectly fine'....it's been that they've been
lucky. Then one day something happens and you will
be devistated. If you want to give additional bedding
material, rip up a few sheets of unscented undyed
toilet tissue and give them that. Or leave a couple
of sheets on the tissue roll...they will delight in shredding
it off and carting it away before demolishing the cardboard
tube.
