New Gerbil

I had 2 gerbils for a little over 2 months, but one died a week ago, So i
picked out a new one at the pet store.  I can't do the split cage method of
introducing them since it would be too hard with the 2 cages I have.  Is
there any easier way of introducing them but making sure they won't fight or
hurt each other?
