Title: Re: gerbil questions
We've had a pair who both had kinked tails who mated (the female looked like a male for most of her life until she was about 2wks pregnant or we would not have let them breed, don't ask us how but she did look like a little boy!). All their pups were very healthy. We would not recommend breeding any gerbil that was born with any deformity since it can be an indication of other more serious health concerns, and at the least a shorter lifespan or more deformed pups.

Subject: gerbil questions
Hi list, I just got three gerbils. 2 Grey agouti males and a red fox pied female. Will all three be ok together?
The female has a kink near the base of her tail. Is this ok? Will it affect the pups?
