I noticed that my last batch of corn cob bedding was
quite dusty. I plan to get a large strainer next
payday and use it to sift the dust from my corn cob
bedding from now on. Corn cob bedding does need to be
changed quite often due to the problem of possible
mold growth. The less amount one uses in the cage the
mor frequently it should be changed. Also the more
gerbils that are on it the more often it should be
changed. But unless I remove the dust prior to next
cage change, I too worry that there is too much dust
in the corn cob bedding these days.
