The behavior of the mother attacking the pups at 4 weeks is normal driving away behavior. She was trying to send them on their own to start their own families. In the confines of a Aquarium there is nowhere for the babies to go. The litter may have been mostly females, cause this doesn't aways occur with each litter. Another possibility, is odors from a clean tank, items from another tank, pups becoming adolescents developing a different scent, or not enough water. (bottle may not be working right)
