Hi List ! My 3 gerbils are now 5 1/2 weeks old and they're doing great in the tank. They come and walk up to my shoulder, sit there, explore my neck etc. ! Lol, it's good fun seeing the 3 of them "queuing" to go on my arm! However...I am very suspiscious about one of the "male" and wonder if it might be a female! I can't really sex them but this one seems to have a different "butt" than the other two :-)) (s)he's also the tamest of the 3 and I certainly don't want to get rid of him, her,,??? BUT I don't want any pups either, so I wondered if it is possible to neuter gerbils and if so how soon can it be done ? Is it very risky (I'd hate myself if anything happened to them) ? Would it be better to do the 2 males or the 1 female (if it is indeed a female!) ? I never thought I'd be besotted like this with gerbils !!! lol! But they are so cute and funny!
