As Julian said, thanks for the bug report. As it has been concluded on
the mailing list this is not a trivial matter, since gerbv is mainly
developed on other platforms.

I would be glad if you could do some things for us to improve our
ability to test:

1) Have you tried to go back in gerbv versions?
Several old versions are available at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gerbv/files/gerbv/

2) Could you please enter the text in the email in a bug report on
Sourceforge? It is done at
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=33921&atid=409538
If you don't have a Sourceforge ID or similar we can add it, I/we just
want your consent to do it.

I will test a bit myself, I have VirtualBox with XP and will try to add
an 2000-SP4.
