Hello again,

Further inspection of this problem and bug gave at hand that there are
actual solutions out there.

First of all it seems like the problems comes from some kind of IPv6
Preview (https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/1655). The fix
was then to include two Window specific .h files, but that is not an
option due to copyright reasons.

Then I found another bug report
(http://www.mail-archive.com/wireshark-bugs@wireshark.org/msg17355.html)
that pointed to another solution without need to update any source.

There is apperently a guy that has written his own ws2_32.dll
(http://codemagnet.blogspot.com/2007/10/winsock2-replacement.html). I've
tested it and it worked, so far to get past that point of error.

So...
1) Go to http://codemagnet.blogspot.com/2007/10/winsock2-replacement.html
2) Download the rar file available from that page available under the
"Modified version." link.
3) Extract ws2_32.dll and copy that to <program file>/gerbv-2.5.0/bin/
4) Use a search engine near you to find a file called gdiplus.dll and
copy it to the same place.
5) Run the program.

Graphic and icons can look like crap, I have no idea why.

Best regards,
/Stefan
PS I apologize for all the bug reports I managed to generate DS
